recipe for baked peaches



                      Baked peaches (serve-4)
Ingredients
  • 4 ripe peaches
  • 200 gm strawberries
  • 50 gm granulated sugar
  • 50 gm butter
  • 1 tbsp cognac (or other strong liquor)

Method
  1. Cut peaches into four parts and remove the seed.
  2. Sprinkle sugar in a small baking mould and place peaches in it, skin facing downwards.
  3. Apply little butter on each peach quarter, and sprinkle sugar over it.
  4. Pre heat the oven before use.
  5. Bake the peaches in a preheated oven for three to four minutes.
  6. Take out and place peaches in desert bowls. 
  7. Pour liquid left over from baking together with cognac over peaches, and flambé.
  8. When flames cease, garnish peaches with berries.
  9. Your baked peaches is ready to eat so serve immediately.
