Baked peaches (serve-4)
Ingredients
- 4 ripe peaches
- 200 gm strawberries
- 50 gm granulated sugar
- 50 gm butter
- 1 tbsp cognac (or other strong liquor)
Method
- Cut peaches into four parts and remove the seed.
- Sprinkle sugar in a small baking mould and place peaches in it, skin facing downwards.
- Apply little butter on each peach quarter, and sprinkle sugar over it.
- Pre heat the oven before use.
- Bake the peaches in a preheated oven for three to four minutes.
- Take out and place peaches in desert bowls.
- Pour liquid left over from baking together with cognac over peaches, and flambé.
- When flames cease, garnish peaches with berries.
- Your baked peaches is ready to eat so serve immediately.
